I got a bit of stick from Con last night about my previous blog.
Thing is though, you can never really tell the tone of someone's 'voice' on their blog. I was kidding. It was a celebration of city breaks. And a little bit of a rant against suburbanisation. But mostly a celebration of city breaks.
BTW, Venice is lovely. In estate agent parlance, viewing is highly recommended.

My failure to detect your tone is due to egocentrism. There was been a study on this recently in the journal of Personality and Social Psychology (Seriously!) that says you have a 50-50 chance of interpreting the tone of any email, even though you think you interpret the tone 90% of the time.
The study was done on 30 pairs of undergrads, so take those results with a pinch of salt...
